POSITION SUMMARY: International Tool Maintenance Personnel function outside of their home country to assemble and test refurbished and new OSES equipment. This position works without supervision in a customer shop environment to provide the highest standards of service of hands on equipment maintenance.

• Use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble new and refurbished parts, such as valves, fracturing heads, and hydraulic cylinders; conduct pressure tests on, as well as troubleshoot parts to ensure equipment meets specifications; prepare and paint completed parts
• Disassemble various parts and tools for inspection and/or refurbishment
• Hammer connections together with sledge hammers to ensure secure fittings
• Conduct visual examination of tools to ensure conformance to product specifications
• Conduct pressure testing of isolation equipment
• Coordinate equipment machining with third party supplier
• Ordering and purchasing parts and supplies from in country suppliers
• Review tool work orders to ensure all required specs and configurations are completed
• Ensure completion of all related paperwork and verify accuracy
• Develop and retain good customer relations
• Uphold safe working practices and requirements at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must possess a proficient working knowledge of hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• Must possess working knowledge of plug and gate valve rebuilds
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Must have basic math skills
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to rapidly adapt to changes and demands based upon workflow

• Must have valid passport and be able to travel internationally
• Must be able to travel for extensive periods and be on call 24/7 on regularly scheduled work days
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Valve Technician or similar assembly position, in the oil & natural gas industry.
• Must have ability to prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Exposure to shop contaminates such as oils, chemical cleaners and paint dust
• Must be able to work in an environment of varying climates including warm, hot and cold temperatures
• Extensive, bending, lifting, climbing, sitting, pushing up to 50 pounds, pulling up to 100 pounds, and standing for long periods of time
• Exposure to loud noise including both high and low decibels, vibration & bright lights.
