TEST LEAD - 26586

Description

The Test Lead is a key member of the test team responsible for understanding the customer and business requirements and translating it into test methodologies and actions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Actions:
*Review requirements for testability and determine method of testing.
*Work with the client delivery/project team and configuration manager to ensure the test data and environment is defined and ready for testing.
*Drive the risk weight process for test planning.
*Per phase of testing, ensure traceability of requirements.
*Define test plans, deliverables and criteria for acceptance; obtain approval of entry/exit criteria to be used from Test Manager.
*Create testing reports, monitor progress during each test to ensure that the solution is validated and on time and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
*Manage defect process, including escalation.

Leadership:
*Work with the client delivery/project team to ensure delivery of test activities.
*Coordinate the development, updating, and maintenance of test cases.
*Assist the Test Manager or Project Manager with managing and directing the daily work of the Test Analysts when necessary.
*Assist the Test Manager or Project Manager with directing the work planning as required by work requests submitted to the client delivery/project team that have been approved for execution.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
*Strong SQL
*Solid understanding of database structure (Oracle)
*Proven communication skills, written and verbal
*Experience leading testing efforts

*Unix

Core testing skills:
*Requirements breakdown and analysis
*Creation of test strategies, plans and schedules
*Creation of test cases and test scripts

Nice to Have Skills:

*Campaign management

*Datamart testing knowledge

*Test lead experience
