RESOURCE MANAGER - 27116

Description

The Resource Manager is responsible for supporting the Global Product Engineering leaders in managing supply of available resources.

Key Activities:

Staffing Management
*Track and maintain Supply and Demand metrics of team resources
*Identify team bandwidth availability and constraints
*Staff projects requiring PE resources
*Work with hiring leaders to specify recruitment/outsourcing requirements, as needed
*Ensure smooth onboarding of new associates and contract resources
*Work with Portfolio Management to identify project tradeoffs and prioritization

*Work with the leaders to implement workforce development and talent management plans

Global Workforce Migration
*Develop and maintain work migration plans
*Track and facilitate work leader progress against migration plan
*Publish PE migration scorecard
*Identify and address obstacles to migrating work offshore

Qualifications

Required Skills:
*Minimum 3-5 years staffing experience, preferably with an IT or software development organizations combined with solid business experience
*Experience of designing and implementing new processes and procedures
*Able to work in a new role that is still changing and developing
*Able to work autonomously
*Able to build strong relationships with the leaders and associates they support
*Strong Project Management and analytical skills

Nice to Have Skills:
*Experience with Acxiom products and processes
*Bachelor's degree - Computer Science preferred
*Acxiom experience
*Familiar with software development lifecycle and software development methodology
*Strong organizational and presentation skills
