CH-47 Pilot Trainer Job Description:

Independent company is seeking a qualified SCA aircrew training device instructor for the CH-47 (CH-47F TFPS Chinook) war fighter program.

Selected candidate will serve as an instructor pilot (IP), instrument examiner (IE), and Instructor/Operator (I/O) in a simulation device.

As an instructor pilot, the candidate will train and evaluate aviators and other selected personnel per the aircraft training manual (ATM)

As an instrument examiner the candidate will conduct instrument training and instrument flight evaluation per the ATM.

Instruction will include a combination of individual and group instruction.
Instruction will take place in a class room environment and/or on a aircraft simulator.

The position requires up to date knowledge of physiological factors of flight, aerodynamics, meteorology, ATM of assigned aircraft, tactical procedures, gunnery and techniques of instruction.

Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain US security clearance if required.
